John Paul Ziegler

John Paul Ziegler, age 73 of Upper Arlington, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. John was born and raised in Columbus, son of the late Jack and Mary Ziegler. Also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ziegler. John graduated from Bishop Waterson High School and Franklin University. He was the business operations manager for his family’s business, Columbus Auto Springs. He also retired from Franklin County where he worked as a Maintenance Manager. John had previously been active with Knights of Columbus and Charity Newsies. John was always the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor, made friends easily, and always enjoyed a cold Miller Lite. He was a Buckeyes fan, loved listening to the Beatles, and enjoyed lawn work outside. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Heather (Michael Renner) Ziegler and John (Kelly) Ziegler; sisters, Lorraine Ziegler and Patty (Steve) Bailey; nieces, Felicia and Jackie; and other extended family members and dear friends.
