Comments:

Jan 2011. Met Scott Armstrong for lunch last month at Champps. We had a Terrific time. What a guy. Scott (and his twin Craig) and I went to IC elementary, then high school. Joe Vittorio stopped in. Really good to see Joe. Joe just opened Minico's restaurant on Sunbury Rd. in north Columbus. The restaurant got a very nice review in the Columbus Dispatch Weekender section last week. Grrreeaatt Italian food. You probably remember that Joe was brought up in the family business at Riccardo's on Oakland Park Ave. Go Joe! Visit the restaurant -- you will be satisfied.

Sept. 2010. Sorry can't make reunion. Would love to see old friends --- hoping you're all faring well.

It's really hard to belive that 45 years have passed. Did any of us from the 1960's ever fathom that we wolud one day be in the 60's? Seemed like an eternity away. And 22 have passed on! Some really neat guys and gals.

Phil Gordon was the 1st. A year after we graduated. What a shock that was.
Looks like some are traveling a great distance to attend the reunion. That is great.

Has a nice chat with Danny Burk in the last couple days. Great stuff. He's been all the way out in Nevada. No wonder that state is in such a mess!

Also nice talk with Don Schieser. He was kind enough to call me about the reunion. We shared some thoughts of then, now and in-between.

I wish you all well -- extra well -- and the Lord's richest blessings (not meaning money blessings, but life's blessings -- the one's that really count!)

Career started in maint, then engineering, and for last 35+ years have had a management recruiting firm called JD Cotter Search Inc.

School Story:

Lots of stories. But I'm not a very good writer -- will leave that up to others to write.

I think it was just great to be a teen and a high-schooler in the 1960's. No one was rich -- but how we did know how to make the best of what we had. I'm grateful that we didn't have tons of computer games, on-line games (although I do think the internet is fantastic), so many TV channels, and the like....it made us get outdoors, work with our hands, read, etc.

I wouldn't trade growing up in the 60's for any other time. What a great experience, even with some of the hardships involved. Loved those cars!!

Happy Birthday Hawk! I hope you have a wonderful celebration day ... and a very Blessed year ahead. This year...instead of the 50 mile hike ... let's do a 50 yard one! Best to you you and Kay.
