IN MEMORY

Patrick Krivda

Patrick Krivda

KRIVDA Patrick Joseph Krivda passed away peacefully in sleep on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 with his beloved wife and daughter at his side after a long and very courageous 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Pat was a man of deep, unshakeable faith who loved unconditionally, gave of himself generously, and rose to protect a victim. He was an accomplished and inventive cook who greatly enjoyed preparing large Italian dinners to entertain friends and family and for events into which he was sweet-talked by Pam. Pat learned golf as a young man; he played well and loved the game and the camaraderie that came with it. Pat was a long-time member of the Guild Athletic Club. Above all, Pat had a wonderful and wry sense of humor that delighted everyone around him, particularly his wife. Pat is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pamela. Pat and Pam were each other's best friends, greatest champions and the deepest hearts of each other's lives. He is also survived by their remarkable daughter, Shelly (Misty Brady); two granddaughters, Alana Catherine and Taylor Reece; and by his and Pam's dearest friends and extended family, Tony and Ruth Ann Andrietti. Pat and Tony became best friends in 1958 and were "brothers" throughout Pat's life. Pat was preceded in death by his parents William and Meredith Krivda and his sister Wilsie Sestito. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2012 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065, (614)-792-1471, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Eric Waters and The Rev. William H. DeVille, officiating. A Guild Athletic Club Service will be held at 3 p.m. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Anyone choosing to make memorial contributions may do so to: The Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026 www.cahs-pets.org. Pamela and Shelly,

I am sorry to findout about Pat's passing.  I jus got this information today on the Watterson class of 65 website.  I knew Pat from St. Andrew's grade school, where we played on football and baseball teams together., then we went on to high school at Watterson.  After graduation we no longer had any communication, but I always had good memories of the time we spent together in school.  I am so sorry to learn of Pat's passing.

Sincerely,

Gary Spanner
