Taught Biology and chemistry and coached football for 8 years after college. Never intended for it to happen but the first 4 years were back at Watterson after running into a certain Mouse at a baseball game and him urging me to apply-thought it might be hard for certain teachers to not think of me as still being a student. Took Sr. Amy's place as chemistry teacher-big shoes to fill! Moved to Marion, Ohio, for 2 years to get my first head coaching job, then back to that hated rival, DeSales, to coach when Treeze Sharrock retired. As my blood was turning purple, I left to enter the business world in energy conservation (insulation, windows and doors) for eight years before starting my own property management company and working full time in real estate.
I'm lucky, I still wake up in the morning and enjoy going to work!
