John Richard Schuster

John Richard (Jack) Schuster , died July 1, 1996 at Kobacker House. Preceded in death by father Gomer Schuster and friend James Seaman. Survived by wife and life-long companion, Barbara Hysell; life-partner, Collin Fellows; friend, Linda Carlson. In addition, Mr. Schuster is survived by his mother, Eileen Schuster ; sister, Janet Van Schoik (Tim) of Canton, Oh.; nieces, Sara and Katie; and loving aunt, Bernece Owen. For 25 years Jack was a Social Worker and Administrator in Central Ohio. He spent the last 6 years as a Employee Assistance Consultant, most recently with Medco Behavorial Health Care. Jack sends "THANKS" to all his clients who throughout the years taught him about life and love. And to his family, particularly his wife Barbara and partner Collin, who taught him about loving without conditions. Remember, "I had a Great Time "LIVING" this life because I "OUTGREW" the need to suffer". Family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 5, 1996 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Fr. David Sorahan and Rev. Tom Weitzel will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elizabeth Bradford Memorial Hospice Fund in c/o Kobacker House, Riverside/Grant or AIDS Service Connection, 1066 N. High St., Columbus, Oh.
